Corrections, disputes and removals

Last updated: 26/09/26

Perth Disability Connect lists disability services and support organisations in Perth. Listings are free. We build them from public business information and public Google reviews, and score every business with the same published method (see how we score). Payment cannot change a score, a ranking position, or the outcome of any request on this page.

This page explains how businesses, and anyone named or described on a listing, can ask us to fix something.

What a listing shows, and what it doesn’t

A listing shows:

  • business details from its Google Business Profile and website
  • the Google star rating and review count
  • our score
  • a summary of the themes in recent reviews
  • up to two current watch-outs

A listing does not show:

  • the text of reviews
  • reviewers’ names
  • the names of staff or owners mentioned in reviews

Correcting your details

We correct factual details when you send the right information and something that verifies it:

  • business name
  • address, phone and website
  • opening hours
  • services and categories

Verification can be your website, your Google Business Profile, or official registration documents. A correction stays in place through future data refreshes.

If your business is shown in a category it does not serve, tell us and we will remove it from that category.

Disputing a score or summary

We never edit scores by hand. A dispute is a claim that the information feeding your score or summary is wrong. For example:

  • your listing is matched to the wrong business
  • reviews are credited to you that aren’t yours
  • a summary misstates what reviewers wrote
  • a summary presents an allegation as a fact

We re-check the sources and regenerate the listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher score, and resubmitting the same dispute won’t change the outcome.

Regulated health services

If your business provides a regulated health service (for example physiotherapy, occupational therapy or psychology), your listing summary should describe your services, access and communication, not treatment outcomes or clinical results. If you see clinical claims on your listing, tell us and we will remove them.

Personal information on a listing

Anyone can ask us to remove their personal information from a listing, not only the business. That includes:

  • a staff member who has been named
  • a reviewer who has been identified
  • a sole trader whose home address is shown

We act on these requests even when we decline to remove the listing itself.

Removing a listing

We remove a listing when:

  • the business has permanently closed
  • it is a duplicate
  • it falls outside the scope of this directory

Our monthly data refresh also removes businesses that have closed. We may decline to remove an accurate, in-scope listing, and if we do, we explain why.

How to contact us

Email [email protected] with:

  • your name
  • the listing’s web address
  • what you want changed, with any evidence

How quickly we respond

We acknowledge every request within 7 business days. We action confirmed corrections and removals within 7 days. If we decline a request, we explain why.
